At the Ministry of Infrastructure we are responsible for planning, building and managing government-owned infrastructure.
Alberta Infrastructure is responsible for delivering one quarter of the 2022-25 Capital Plan which is working to address the provincial infrastructure needs of Alberta’s population, and supporting key social programs and services, and economic development.
The Ministry designs, builds, manages and maintains government-owned and operated facilities, and collaborates with other ministries to ensure that school and hospital infrastructure meet the needs of Alberta’s population.
Infrastructure provides accommodation services and manages a large portfolio of owned and leased facilities while maintaining fiscal accountability and optimizing value for Albertans.

The Program Coordinator is responsible for program-level coordination and monitoring of the evaluation planning processes and schedules;
procurement and administration for consultant contracts; and supporting effective data and file management systems for the program.
The Program Coordinator is also a primary point of contact for program stakeholders (e.g., other departments; consultants conducting facility evaluations) to respond to a variety of program-related queries.
The work of the Program Coordinator contributes to program efficiency and consistency by maintaining program information, coordinating multiple procurements, monitoring multiple ongoing evaluation projects, and responding to diverse stakeholder information requests.
The Program Coordinator also contributes significantly to unit effectiveness and organization.
Responsibilities include :
- Setting priorities, goals and schedules
- Responding to queries related to contract management, requests for access to the database
- Coordinating procurement and contract administration
- Collaborate on evaluation projects, contributing to process and system reviews, developing resources for stakeholders
- Provide support and training resources to client ministry representatives.
Qualifications
Required :
University degree in a related field; no experience required; or equivalent as described below
Equivalency : Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of :
- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
The successful candidate must also have :
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines
Assets :
- Knowledge of building maintenance and construction processes and procedures
- Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple projects
