Electromechanical Technician

Join our client, an innovative start-up based in North York, at the forefront of food container manufacturing. We're on the lookout for a talented Electromechanical Technician to join our dynamic team.

This role offers an exciting chance to play a pivotal role in establishing our new manufacturing plant and shaping its vibrant culture from the ground up.

What You'll Gain :

• Full-time hours with competitive pay rates between $27- $32 per hour.
• Straight Days : 9am 5pm.

RESPONSIBLITIES :

• Perform routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
• Install and test new equipment
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and document repairs
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve issues
• Weld and fabricate components as needed

SKILLS :

• Machine Building and Injection Molding experience
• Strong electrical knowledge, including the ability to read schematics
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
• Experience working with logic controllers
• Knowledge of low voltage systems
• Familiarity with Compressors
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
