About the position

You will be part of a dynamic team working to respond to evolving business needs at the centre of Canada’s economy. You will join a team of technology professionals that are creating the platforms, applications, and ideas to shape the future and provide the foundation for our entire business.

As a student you will support the work of operational teams as they maintain resilient operations and position the Bank’s technology architecture to meet broad and evolving needs.

Your education and experience

To qualify for these opportunities, you need to be currently enrolled as a student in a related field at a college or university (undergraduate level).

Additionally, you must be returning to school in the next academic term.

Knowledge and Skills

• proficient in analyzing applications to identify failure points and devise effective solutions for resolution
• familiar with the concepts of object-oriented programming
• capable of developing and executing automated test cases and scenarios according to project specifications
• as a team member in a scrum team, actively participates in test planning strategy and review meetings
• ability to systematically analyze information, define problem and draw logical conclusions
• strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• ability to work independently or as part of a team
• self-starter and innovative problem solver who enjoys working in a dynamic work environment
• experience or understanding of Agile and DevOps delivery approach

What you need to know

• Language requirement : English or French essential
• Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
• Security level required : Be eligible to obtain Reliability

Remote work / Hybrid Work Model

The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture.

Most employees can telework from home for a substantial part of each month as part of the Bank s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of eight days per month to help build connections between colleagues.

You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office. For this position, should you not live within reasonable commuting distance of the office, you will be able to work 100% remote (within Canada) for the duration of this term.

Salary $27.08 hourly (job grade Student C)
