Title : Junior accountant

Location : Montreal (Ville Saint-Laurent, working from home 3 days / week

Permanent position

Salary : $60 000-$70 000 / year

Our client, a growing company is looking for a junior accountant to join their dynamic team ! As a provider of customized supply chain solutions, the company serves customers in many business-to-business market segments including supermarkets, healthcare facilities, universities, and restaurants.

Founded in 1935, our company serves more than 80,000 customers through 80+ branches.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general ledger accounts in assigned accounting area (s) to include preparation of supporting schedules
• Preparation of appropriate journal entries, and reconciliation of account(s).
• Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.
• Perform GL Chart Maintenance and related duties.
• Participate in other initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

• Positive and professional demeanour.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and -

French, and the ability to interact effectively with a variety of team

members in various departments.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft : Access, Excel,
• Diploma of college studies, Attestation of college studies or

Certificate, University bachelor's degree in accounting or

administration or Finance

2 5 years with full cycle of accounting
