To facilitate growth, Bell Media is looking for a Senior Solution Architect responsible for driving the transformation of Bell Media’s broadcast infrastructure to a fully IP-based, software-controlled environment. The candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and evolution of the broadcast infrastructure and lead innovation with "out of the box" thinking in order to perfect the technological ecosystem according to new industry standards. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Broadcast engineering, the solution architect's priorities are driven to support Bell’s technological evolution and strategic objectives through domain-specific technical design. The candidate will use agile methodology in the implementation of the development and release process and embody our Network 3.0 values that encourage collaboration, making problems visible, and supporting and serving our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads complex engagements and works directly with project teams to develop budgets, timelines, and manage expectations.
• Conceptualize system designs and determine system requirements based on business process analysis and requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and coordination to support the development and customization of complex systems solutions to address business requirements.
• Develop detailed design documentation strategy based on established engineering standard practices.
• Research, identify, and recommend technology options.
• Support projects and teams in the execution and deployment phase.
• Maintain expertise in the industry through ongoing review of publications, participation in industry trade shows, seminars, and educational forums.

Additional Information :

For work arrangements that are ‘Hybrid’, successful candidates must be based in Canada and report to a set Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week. Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, Bell offers flexibility in work hours based on the business needs.
