The Bell Person will contribute to the overall success of the hotel by anticipating guest needs and providing friendly, efficient, and superior customer service with every guest interaction. The position is responsible for maintaining a positive front of the house environment while maintaining high internal & external guest service standards at all times.
Responsibilities :
- Provides luggage service upon guest’s arrival and departure and rooms the guest in a professional manner
- Stores luggage for guests accurately and efficiently
- Delivers morning newspapers, and room service orders when there is no room service ambassador available
- Assists valet attendant(s) with parking guest vehicles
- Works closely with all members of the Front Desk Team
- Demonstrates knowledge of hotel group bookings and scheduled events
- Ensures the cleanliness of the Front Desk, lobby, and driveway area
- Contributes to a positive guest experience
- Assists in arranging transportation (taxi, shuttle, tour bus, etc.) for guests
- Reads logbook to be informed of day's events
- Checks for VIP arrivals and delivers VIP amenities as required
- Provides recommendations to guests on local sights and attractions
- Other duties as assigned
