At the City of Penticton, our goal is to serve our residents, businesses, and visitors through good governance, partnership and the delivery of effective and community-focused services.
The City of Penticton's Fire Services Department is looking to fill the position of Fire Prevention Inspector I . They may also be called upon to train and instruct such officers and firefighters on subjects relative to fire investigation.
The successful incumbent may accompany fire suppression evolutions for the purpose of fire investigations, and for that purpose may request a company officer or firefighter in charge to put firefighters under their direction for the overhaul of the original and adjacent areas of fire, secure the area or building, witness the scene, interrogation, and removal of evidence.
