The Role

As the Outside Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of business development, working directly with contractors and industry professionals to expand market share and drive revenue. You’ll actively meet with customers in the field, identify opportunities, and build strong relationships that set you and the company apart.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Drive new business growth by knocking on doors, meeting contractors, and building relationships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the construction sales cycle and navigate multiple meetings to reach decision-makers.
  • Provide outstanding customer service with a hands-on approach, understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Actively monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, quotes, and progress towards goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Sales experience in the construction supply industry, preferably selling to contractors.
  • Strong knowledge of the Kelowna market and established relationships within the industry are highly desirable.
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual with the drive to succeed in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and thrive on building meaningful client relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
