Adecco is actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our client's team in Brampton, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, handling carrier / customer paperwork, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to an essential function of the company while ensuring compliance with regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Pay Rate : $23 / hour plus $1 Shift premium
Location : Brampton, ON
Shift : Sundays-Thursdays 11 : 00pm-7 : 00am
Job type : Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities :

Schedule inbound and outbound carrier appointments to ensure the timely arrival and dispatch of inventory.

Maintain the inbound database with scheduled appointment times and update as necessary.

Handle and prepare Bill of Ladings, customs paperwork, and CFIA documents.

Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and filed correctly.

Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers via email and phone.

Answer inquiries from carriers and customers, providing timely updates and assistance.

Direct truck drivers to the appropriate doors and assign documentation upon completion.

Work with the Warehouse Supervisor and the Business Processes team to resolve any issues.

Follow all safety protocols to ensure the safe operation of the warehouse and transportation.

Stay compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Assist in inter-company inventory transfers and shipping opportunities.

Support various administrative tasks such as filing, restocking, and packing paperwork for storage.

Requirements :

Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certification / designation is an asset.

1-2 years in a warehouse or distribution centre environment, with a focus on shipping and receiving.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines effectively.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve conflicts when needed.

A high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
