Job description

We are in the process of recruiting a detail-oriented individual for a Customer Service role to join our team in Etobicoke, Ontario. The individual will play a crucial role in managing customer interactions, maintaining data accuracy, and coordinating with various departments to optimize order fulfillment.

Responsibilities :

  • Efficiently handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing effective solutions and escalating issues when necessary
  • Actively engage in data entry tasks, inputting orders and other relevant information into the company's systems
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Utilize ERP software for tracking orders, inventory, and other pertinent data to stay updated on all order statuses
  • Manage EDI systems and processes
  • Correspond regularly with warehouse teams to ensure order accuracy and delivery timelines are met
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline the order fulfillment process
  • Answer inbound calls and handle email correspondence to provide customer support and schedule appointments
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for various tasks

This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing both inbound and outbound calls.
  • Previous experience in a call center customer service role is advantageous.
  • Strong data entry skills.
  • Experience in email correspondence handling.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Skilled in order entry processes.
  • Ability to schedule appointments effectively.
  • Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
  • Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is beneficial.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
