Our client in Fort Saskatchewan is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Billing Clerk to join their finance department on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing processes, proficiency in Track software, and intermediate Excel skills. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy to contribute to their team and ensure timely and accurate billing processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Generate and process invoices accurately and efficiently
• Accurately process permanent packages and submit them to the appropriate manager.
• Maintain and update project employee summary spreadsheets with up-to-date contact information.
• Assist Project Managers with tasks such as vehicle pass requests for site access and camp room bookings for project personnel.
• Handle the booking of hotel rooms, safety-related training courses, and flights for project personnel.
• Review billing data for accuracy and completeness, and resolve any discrepancies
• Prepare billing statements and reports for management review
• Assist in the reconciliation of accounts receivable and billing records
• Communicate with clients to address billing inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for billing purposes
• Assist in the development and implementation of billing procedures and controls
• Provide support to the finance team as needed
