2026 - Optometry Summer Student Program, Canada Wide

Have an opportunity to experience different business models as well. FYiHealth Group is delighted to include solis optics and BonLook as part of our business brands. These brands are more retail focused and provide fantastic insight into different what different opportunities can look like post graduation.

Our Program will be a 16 week run starting May 4 through August 21, 2026. This is a structured program and we ask applicants to plan to work 4 to 5 days a week to gain the most they can from the experiences offered.

Program Overview

• Experience every job in the clinic, from front desk to pretesting, dispensing and potential Optometrist shadowing
• Help guide patients through the clinic as they follow our Patient Pathway. Experience first hand what different doctor schedules can look like and how they affect the flow of a clinic.
• Put your university learnings into practice in the workplace, and get to learn about other topics that may not have yet been covered in depth.
• Learn the importance of dispensing practices – from adjusting glasses to learning which frames work best for certain prescriptions.
