Your New Role

As Director of Finance, reporting to the VP, Accounting & Finance and supporting the VP, Development and CEO you will be a key player in shaping the financial success of PATH’s development projects. Your primary focus will be ensuring debt and equity structures align with performance goals, while also leading and mentoring a high-performing finance team (two direct reports). Working closely with development and acquisition teams, you’ll provide financial oversight and strategic guidance to support the company’s expanding portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to engage with industry leaders, build strong financial partnerships, and contribute to high-impact projects across Western Canada and Washington State.

Key Responsibilities :

• The Director of Finance will play a key role in development projects, ensuring that debt and equity are structured appropriately to support the achievement of performance targets and goals.
• You will take the lead managing the execution of finance team tasks and goals, including management and supervision of two direct reports.
• Oversee project analysis, including acquisition and development proformas and complex financial models
• Arrange project debt for for-sale and rental projects
• Prepare and coordinate materials for capital raises, including presentations, investment memorandums and other documents
• Manage relationships with lenders and equity investors
• Assist or lead in the delivery of reports to investors and senior management
• Engage with and become an active member of the greater real estate community
• Lead special projects, or other initiatives as required
