Job descriptionManage project planning, execution, and resource allocation following best practices. Lead cross-functional teams, including external vendors and internal staff. Develop project documentation : charters, business cases, risk management plans, change management, and performance metrics. Oversee project schedules, budgets, risk mitigation, quality control, and reporting. Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance. Stay current with emerging technologies and project management techniques. Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of progressive project management experience. PMP or comparable certification required. Experience managing large, complex IT projects. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills. Experience with Microsoft 365, change management, and Microsoft Project Online is preferred.

Summary of Duties
Reporting to the Supervisor, Strategy & Architecture, the Senior Project Manager will manage enterprise-wide IT projects, ensuring delivery per IT PMLC Framework, focusing on scope, schedule, cost, and risk management. This role leads and coordinates technology initiatives supporting Transit and Public Works, including transit systems, asset management, traffic control, GIS, and infrastructure.
