Our client is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join their healthcare team in Northern Ontario. This role provides the opportunity to work across multiple laboratory disciplines, engaging both directly with patients and in behind-the-scenes diagnostics that contribute to high-quality patient care.
About the Role
The Medical Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results. This position offers a mix of patient-facing responsibilities and technical lab work, making it an excellent fit for individuals who thrive in dynamic healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory testing across multiple disciplines to support patient care.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as required.
- Ensure accuracy and quality control in all laboratory procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation and adhere to regulatory and safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support diagnostic and treatment plans.
- Utilize laboratory equipment and technology to analyze specimens efficiently.
