About the role

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular full-time Utilization Data Pharmacist Manager, PPRP Formulary to join our dynamic Plasma Protein and Related Products Formulary Program team .

The Plasma Protein and Related Products (PPRP) Formulary Program team is responsible for leading Canadian Blood Services’ formulary management processes on behalf of the Provinces and Territories in order to meet patients’ needs.

The Utilization Data Pharmacist Manager, PPRP Formulary is a key role within the PPRP portfolio that supports all facets associated with utilization including developing a fulsome data strategy, monitoring utilization practices, developing and maintaining utilization evaluation tools, assessing / reviewing outcomes of audits and trending any adverse reactions. The role involves complex cognitive functions performed within a multi-tasking framework to ensure that the formulary continues to provide effective, safe and reliable products which meet patients’ needs. Each of these segments contribute to Canadian Blood Services managing a quality program whereby decisions are evidence-based and supported by data.
