We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to oversee and manage the daily production schedule. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining production plans, ensuring workflow efficiency, and coordinating with various teams to meet operational targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational abilities, and effective communication to support seamless production processes.Key Responsibilities : Develop, maintain, and distribute weekly production schedules, ensuring alignment with operational and business goals.Monitor production performance against planned schedules, analyze discrepancies, and provide detailed reports on key performance metrics.Adjust production plans dynamically to accommodate changing operational requirements and mitigate potential disruptions.Identify potential bottlenecks, tooling issues, or material shortages, and coordinate with relevant teams to implement timely solutions.Work closely with maintenance teams to prioritize and schedule tool repairs to minimize downtime.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ERP system, ensuring real-time visibility into production workflows.Monitor backlog orders, coordinate with supply chain teams, and implement corrective actions to meet delivery targets.Collaborate with production teams to optimize resource allocation and ensure readiness for operational demands.Provide regular updates to management regarding production efficiency, constraints, and improvement opportunities.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production data and recommending process enhancements.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a related role in a manufacturing environment.Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, MES, or APO, with a solid understanding of production workflows.Strong mathematical and statistical aptitude to analyze production metrics and optimize efficiency.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience in macros, database report writing, and MS Access being an asset.Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and make data-driven decisions that align with business objectives.Exceptional attention to detail, time-management, and communication skills to effectively liaise across departments.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
