Position DescriptionOverviewPlanning and Leading a 6 week Summer Day Camp for kids and youth from Toronto Community Housing neighborhoods (for more information on our ministry, see : Positions available in Rexdale (Etobicoke) and Cataraqui (Scarborough) and Glamorgan(Scarborough)10 Weeks (35 hrs / week) - Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm (hours are subject to shift slightly) Mandatory overnight training retreat Requirements High School Diploma Completed Strong personal relationship and love for Jesus & His mission Heart for serving underprivileged communities Heart for working with kids and youth Experience running day camps & working with kids preferred Responsibilities Planning and Preparing Responsible for planning daycamp program for approximately 50 children between the ages of 5-14 Create a daily schedule that incorporates all the necessary components of a fun, creativity, and safe in person daycamp Responsibilities in administrative process, including Child Registration, Promotion of Camp, and Contacting Parents.
