Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to produce diagnostic images that assist physicians in detecting and monitoring various medical conditions. Your expertise will directly contribute to patient care by providing clear, accurate imaging results, especially in specialized areas such as maternal‑fetal medicine and obstetrics / gynecology (Ob / Gyn). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment where your technical skills and compassionate patient care make a real difference.
Duties
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of internal organs, tissues, and blood flow for diagnostic purposes
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and assist in diagnosis
- Perform specialized sonography procedures related to maternal‑fetal medicine and Ob / Gyn, ensuring fetal development and reproductive health assessments are thorough and precise
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and prevent infections during procedures
- Explain procedures clearly to patients, addressing their concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Keep detailed records of imaging procedures, patient histories, and technical findings in accordance with medical protocols
- Stay current with advancements in sonography technology, anatomy knowledge, physiology, and medical imaging best practices
