Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Medical Laboratory Technologist in the Laboratory Services Department.
Primary location : Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll.
Qualifications
- Certification with Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
- Current registration or eligible as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario with authorization to practice relevant specialties in Laboratory Medicine.
- Minimum two years' experience in a medical laboratory preferred.
- Demonstrated computer literacy (i.e. Cerner).
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated accuracy, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to collaborate, develop and maintain effective relationships within healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to personal, patient and staff safety.
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis.
- Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
