• As a Team Leader in Transportation Infrastructure, you will lead a team of approximately 10 engineers and technicians and assist the Manager in achieving the objectives of the Transportation Infrastructure Department.
• This position can based out of either Calgary, Edmonton, Regina or Saskatoon.
• Your role within the team
• Support the Manager in implementing methods and procedures according to corporate standards.
• Manage the human, financial, and material resources of your department.
• Plan resources for projects and participate in annual human resources processes (recruitment, performance evaluations, resource development plans, training, etc.).
• Participate in business development for your department. Participate in the writing of proposals.
• Act as a project manager for several projects.
• Participate in and / or lead execution of transportation infrastructure projects including Function Planning, Preliminary Design, Detail Design and Construction Administration services.
• Ensure client satisfaction and compliance with services offered deliverables, budgets, and schedules.

• The ideal candidate
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with APEGA and / or APEGS and willing to become a member in other provinces when required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in managing large-scale Transportation infrastructure projects and at least 3 years in managing / coordinating technical teams.
• Proactive and methodical, with the ability to manage priorities and take initiative.
• Able to communicate in English (speaking, reading & writing).
• Completed large-scale assignments with various Ministries of Transportation and / or Cities.
