Business Systems Analyst – Swaps & TreasuryClient : Big 5 BankLocation : Downtown Toronto. 2 days in officeDuration of Contract / Perm : 6-month rolling contract with potential to extend for up to 2 years.Hours / week : 37.5 hours / weekStart date : February Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA), focusing on the Swaps and US Treasury Line of Business (LOB). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capital markets, particularly in the electronic side of swaps and US Treasury operations. This role requires managing end-to-end trading solutions, handling production issues, and working under high pressure. The candidate should be skilled in building requirements, managing front office interactions, and coordinating with vendors to deploy solutions.Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements and specifications.
• System Analysis : Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Solution Design : Design and propose technology solutions that align with business goals and requirements.
• Project Implementation : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation.
• Production Support : Monitor and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing systems.
• Stakeholder Communication : Manage communications with business stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback. Engage directly with the Front Office to understand and fulfill their requirements.
• Vendor Coordination : Work with vendors to deploy and integrate new systems or updates.
• Data Flow Management : Oversee the flow of data between systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Testing and Validation : Conduct testing of new systems or updates to ensure they meet business requirements.
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and issue resolutions.
• Training and Support : Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders.
• Trading Applications : Work on Swaps trading applications and integrations between trading venues (e.g., Tradeweb, MarketAxess). Key Skills
• End-to-End Trading Solutions : Expertise in working on full end-to-end trading solutions, including trading venues and integration.
• Production Issue Analysis : Ability to analyze and resolve production issues, such as troubleshooting pricing discrepancies.
• Business & Vendor Management : Skilled in managing conversations with business stakeholders and coordinating with vendors for deployment.
• Swaps & US Treasury Knowledge : Understanding of swaps pricing, US Treasury operations, and fixed income (FI) bonds pricing.
• Data Flow Management : Knowledge of data flow processes between systems.
• Capital Markets Experience : Direct experience managing front office operations on a day-to-day basis and prioritizing tasks. Technical Proficiency
• Trading Platforms : Experience with Broadway, TOMS, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, and MarketAxess.
• Front Office Experience : Proven ability to build requirements and work effectively in high-pressure environments.
