Our client, a renowned retailer in the fashion industry, is currently seeking a Design Technician to join their team!Full-time. Permanent. Responsibilities : Create detailed technical sheets and flat sketches to communicate design specifications to production teams;Prepare and organize technical files with measurements, materials, and construction details for quoting; Update tracking tools regularly to ensure progress is monitored and shared with stakeholders; Collaborate with production teams and suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure alignment with specifications; Monitor sample development to ensure consistency with design requirements and timelines Profile : Earn a DEC in fashion design / production or a related field;Bring 3 to 5 years of relevant experience; Possess strong written English skills. 25% of the time, the candidate will need to communicate in English to procure materials from suppliers based in Asia; Demonstrate proficiency in Illustrator and Excel; Understand garment construction techniques, assembly, and textiles; Maintain strong organizational skills with a clear work structure; Manage multiple tasks effectively within tight deadlines; Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
