Job descriptionBachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field. Fourth‑year university students with extensive tutoring experience considered. Teaching certification an asset. Good knowledge of the current Grades 3–12 French core curriculum. Experience teaching / tutoring French at Grade 3–12 (or equivalent). Strong English written and oral communication skills. Strong French skills and ability to guide students’ understanding. Ability to multitask and balance up to three students at a time. Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels. Following Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies. Filling in post‑lesson notes. Completing daily student communication updates. Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times. Fun staff events. Ongoing training opportunities. Frequent check‑ins and feedback. Company growth opportunities. Hands‑on development of teaching skills.

Salary : $19 / hour
Schedule : Evenings (3 : 45 pm – 7 : 15 pm) Monday to Friday; Saturday mornings (9 : 45 am – 1 : 15 pm)
Position Requirements :
- After‑school and evening hours (3 : 45 pm–7 : 15 pm) as well as Saturday mornings (9 : 45 am–1 : 15 pm); preferred commitment until the end of the term in June, continuing through the summer even better.
- Strong spoken and written French and English; teaching in French.
- Teaching up to a Grade 9 level (up to Grade 12 preferred).
- Ability to multitask and balance up to three students.
- Must be able to commute to location (in‑person); vulnerable sector screening mandatory.
