We are currently seeking a Bed Truck Operator to join our team in our Bonnyville Terminal

Position: Bed Truck Operator

Type: Fulltime

Location: Bonnyville Alberta

Pay: Commensurate with experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Move rig buildings, derricks, matting, and other miscellaneous oilfield equipment
• Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods
• Preform pre-trip, enroute and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods
• Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices
• Will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Weekend work, on call work, overtime as required
• Travel and/or camp work

Qualifications

• Class 1 Driver’s License required with a clean abstract
• Map reading/LSD
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Demonstrated organizational skills, time management techniques, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work with little supervision in a professional manor
• Good depth perception and manual dexterity
