Salary : $70,- $90, per year (full-time / permanent)

What you’ll do here :

• Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into Microsoft Fabric.
• Architect data models and structures within Microsoft Fabric to support efficient querying and analytics.
• Optimize and tune data pipelines and queries for performance and scalability.
• Developing and maintaining data models and process optimization initiatives using Power BI as part of doing analytics.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and accuracy of data processing.
• Organizing large sets of data from various sources, cleaning, iterating, processing, and verifying the accuracy of data.
• Use Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and statistical modeling techniques to extract and summarize the overall features of data analysis.
• Identify, analyze and interpret patterns and trends (local and national) in complex data sets using statistical tools and methods for the purposes of diagnosis, inference and prediction.
• Designing and developing reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to present business intelligence insights to stakeholders.
• Providing recommendations based on data analysis to support business decision-making.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data quality, performance, and functionality.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and opportunities.
• Providing training and support to end-users of data lab solutions.
• Continuously monitoring and analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement or optimization.
• Ensuring data privacy and security measures are in place.

What you need to be Successful

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in designing and developing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Combination of advanced technical and sound communication (presentation) skills.
• A systematic and logical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work outside of regular business hours periodically, including the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

What will help you be great!

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric / Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly Azure SQL Data Warehouse) for data warehousing and analytics.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with a combination of the following : Power BI & Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), SQL, MS Office.
• Experience with R and Python programming (asset but not a requirement), and / or experience with another statistical analysis program will be considered.
• Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data-mining, and segmentation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
