The Assembler’s responsibilities include assembling mechanical components using hand and power tools, building shipping boxes with lumber and power tools, and general shop duties like cleanup, material handling, and packing.
The ideal candidate should have attention to detail, experience using hand tools, and the ability to read blueprints, which is considered an asset.

Duties and Responsibilities :
Assembly of mechanical components :
Using a variety of hand tools, both powered and un-powered, assemble parts according to drawings and documented instructions. This typically involves bolting and threading parts together but may also include simple operations like grinding and drilling.
Buliding Shipping Boxes for Equipment :
Using standard lumber and building materials, build boxes used to contain equipment and parts for shipping. This typically involves the measuring and cutting of wood using a power saw and the screwing together of components using a handheld impact driver.
General Duties :
This may include shop clean up & organization, assisting with loading / unloading of trucks, material counting and picking, packing of parts.
Qualifications & Skills :
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
Attention to detail
Experience using hand tools
Ability to read blue prints an asset
Steel to Safety footwear required
Aptitude for math
