CAREGIVER (Full- Time Or Part-Time)

We’re looking for a mature and experienced caregiver with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience, who will take care of an elderly lady in the city in Prescott, Ontario. If you have your PSW (personal support worker) certification that would be an asset but not necessary.

The successful would have the options to come to the beautiful home daily or live in the home full-time or part-time. We have a newly renovated suite – w / parking and separate entrance.

This position is for immediate start and pays $20 an hour + a $5 per hour bonus.

Duties to be performed :

Morning Routine

• make scramble (2 eggs) egg with toast
• Wash dishes
• Give mom - full glass of water, 1 / 2 a glass of orange juice - one cup of ginger, cinnamon, clove tea (w / lemon)
• Give mom her meds
• Wash breakfast dishes
• Talk with her. After breakfast, If she wants, help her walk to the living room

Lunch Time

In between meals talk with her, arrange appointments, take her for a drive, grocery shop, arrange visits, arrange for repairs, manage her calendar, run errands, clean, help with finances / gardening, laundry, etc.

Watch mom at all times during the day, don’t leave her alone. Its important to talk with her constantly.
