Position : Grain Buyer Reports to : Supply Chain Manger We are looking for a Grain Bu yer to join our Supply Chain team!
Our Buyer will be sourcing and purchasing ingredients for our delicious, plant-powerful products.
Opportunities In this role, you will be involved in purchasing organic grains from local and international suppliers that meet our quality standards.
You will have experience in the manufacturing industry and a strong understanding of supply chain management, including building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and farmers. You must have sound project management skills to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
You will also be involved with procurement process including PO’s, inventory management, contract negotiations, new supplier approvals and process improvement.
This role will give you the opportunity to build cross functional relationships internally and externally to the business.

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and farmers to ensure a steady supply.
Visit farms and meet with farmers to establish and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Monitor market trends, prices, and supply / demand factors to make informed purchasing decisions.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best prices and terms, as well as track contracts with brokers or suppliers providing analytical data and reports to support Manage grain logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery and storage of purchased grains.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure all grains meet regulatory and company standards.
Maintain thorough documentation and records of purchases, contracts, and supplier interactions.
Provide regular reports and forecasts to management regarding market conditions and procurement strategies.
