We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in the Utilities / Infrastructure industry. This role involves maintaining and updating customer records, verifying customer information, and resolving customer inquiries promptly.

Responsibilities :

• Accurately verify and update customer information using various sources including internal systems and online resources
• Handle customer inquiries efficiently and resolve issues quickly
• Make outbound calls to customers to verify contact information and update records as necessary
• Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions regarding collections processes
• Support with billing functions and claim administration as needed
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring all interactions are conducted professionally
• Use accounting software systems and Epic Software to manage accounts receivable
• Generate reports and manage data effectively
• Navigate complex customer situations and provide solutions accordingly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Collections Specialist role or similar position within the Utilities / Infrastructure industry.
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems for managing financial data.
• Familiarity with Epic Software and its functionalities.
• Solid understanding and experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures.
• Proven ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls effectively and professionally.
• Demonstrable experience in executing Billing Functions accurately and timely.
• Knowledge of Claim Administration procedures and best practices.
• Strong understanding of Collection Processes, with a track record of successful debt recovery.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients.
