Dawson Civil is looking to hire a skilled Rock Truck Driver . In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson Civil , working in a temporary, full-time position of Rock Truck Driver , reporting to the Project Manager. This position requires an experienced operator to meet company production objectives and work within specified tolerances. Your base location will be Quesnel, BC , and will require some travel throughout our great province.
Overview
What Success Looks Like
- Must prioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the job
- Ability to efficiently operate heavy equipment
- Ability to read and understand survey stakes is considered an asset
- Operate heavy equipment in a mining environment in a safe and appropriate manner
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
- Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance
- Complete daily hazard assessments, maintenance checklists, etc.
- Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections, and adhere to safety policies
