Job Title: Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative to support our electrical and low voltage contracting operations. This role is responsible for managing service requests, assisting with service ticket workflow, driving maintenance agreement sales, and delivering exceptional customer experience from initial contact through post-service follow-up.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable balancing administrative coordination with sales and marketing responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
  • Provide timely, professional responses to service requests, questions, and concerns.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through consistent communication and follow-up.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the service lifecycle.

Service Ticket Workflow Assistant:

  • Create, track, and manage service tickets from intake through completion.
  • Confirm appointments and communicate with customers.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and job status.

Inside Sales & Maintenance Agreements:

  • Promote and sell service maintenance agreements to new and existing customers.
  • Follow up on leads, quotes, and previous service calls to generate repeat business.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on customer needs.
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospects and track sales activities in CRM or internal systems.
  • Support preparation of service estimates and proposals.

Marketing & Customer Engagement:

  • Manage post-service follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Request and coordinate customer reviews, particularly on platforms like Google.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to online reviews (positive and negative).
  • Assist with basic marketing efforts such as email outreach, customer reminders, and promotions.
  • Help maintain the company’s professional online presence.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or service coordination (construction, electrical, HVAC, or related field preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with ability to build customer relationships.
  • Experience with scheduling software, CRM systems, or service management platforms is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
