Schedule:
  • Monday: 8:15 am - 8:00 pm.
  • Wednesday: 8:15 am - 8:00 pm.
  • Friday: 8:15 am - 5:30 pm.
  • Alternating weekends: 8:15 am - 5:30 pm.

The wage for this Sterilization Assistant position is $20.00 - $24.00/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

Please note that this is a replacement job opening.

Your Role:
  • Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in compliance with IPAC standards and provincial regulations.
  • Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, completing required testing and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audit readiness.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized reprocessing area following health and safety protocols.
  • Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow.

About You:
  • Previous clinical experience working in sterilization role is considered an asset.
  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting and/or Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (MDRT) Programs is preferred.
  • Experience with IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) is an asset.
