On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Client's team on a 12-month contract basis. This role is Hybrid (3 days onsite in Richmond, BC), and the Client is based in Richmond, BC.
Summary of the Role :
Our Client is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support the Digital Twin product within the Innovation and Technology Group. As part of an Agile development team, this role ensures the quality, reliability, and performance of Unity front-end applications and C# / .NET backend systems that support real-time operations. The successful candidate will design test strategies, analyze requirements, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in software quality.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement effective test strategies and plans based on business and technical requirements.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and usability testing for Unity-based front-end applications and C# / .NET backend systems.
- Perform end-to-end testing, including UI / UX testing, messaging validation, and system reliability tests.
- Track defects, document reproduction steps, analyze impact, and prioritize severity ratings.
- Utilize JIRA and Confluence for test case management, bug tracking, and QA documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with the QA Lead to refine testing methodologies and prioritize test activities.
- Contribute to CI / CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks in a DevOps environment.
