Our Ideal Candidate
Candidate must possess a Fourth Class Inter-Provincial Engineering Certificate or must be able to acquire your 4th class certification prior to the start of your work term. Currently enrolled as a 1st year student.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the shift engineer on shift and carry out various plant operations duties as assigned, with safety always being the number one priority. As part of an Operations and Maintenance team the incumbent is expected to contribute to the overall success of the plant by performing operations, preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. This position calls for a self-motivated, hands‑on team player with strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent will work within the NAES Operations Technician team environment in one of the following NAES operated facilities :

Qualifications
Successful completion of a medical and background check is a required.
