Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Plant Financial Analyst to join their team. As a Plant Financial Analyst, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting operational and financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Plant Financial Analyst

Location: Lunenburg, NS

Pay Range: To be determined

Shift: Monday to Friday Hybrid

What's the Job?

  • Reconcile, report, and close production work orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Produce daily and weekly plant reporting and metrics, including preliminary warehouse counts, warehouse hours, and quality entries.
  • Update Year-To-Date (YTD) run rate and material databases to support operational insights.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Maintenance teams to meet weekly key indicators and financial reporting deadlines.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify current trends, analyze risks, and recommend actionable solutions.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree (CPA or working towards) with three to five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Word processing software.
  • Knowledge of JDEdwards is an asset.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to meet constant deadlines and work effectively within a team environment.
