We are looking for a Production Technician to join our Team at Edmonton, AB. Reporting to the supervisor, Production Technician is responsible for handling, manufacturing, and inspecting of web slings before shipping.

Principle Responsibilities

• Manufactures polyester and high performance rounds sling to specifications
• Makes customized assemblies by cutting, prepping and building
• Meets planned shipping dates for customer orders
• Responsible for quality assurance of all manufactured items from the round sling department
• Meets all production standards /expectations and specified requirements

Required knowledge and training

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous sewing experience is required, preferably in industrial sewing
• Knowledgeable of various sewing techniques
• Able to safely lift 50 lbs. from floor level to waist level
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to accomplish multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner
