Rainguard Exteriors Inc. has been an industry leader for over 40 years. Family owned and operated, we are a local Edmonton contractor specializing in residential and commercial installation of vinyl siding, cement board, fascia, soffit, metal cladding, and eavestrough.
We are looking for a shop / service technician to join our friendly, fast-paced and hardworking team.
Primary Role Focus
Responsible for ensuring all repair, service and warranty work is executed on a timely manner, including ordering required material, coordinating delivery or pick up, planning, scheduling and closed out of open requests.
This role reports to the Business Owner.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Review all repair, service and / or warranty requests to determine material and labour required to perform the work.
- Order material, plan and schedule the repair, service and / or warranty work.
- Perform the repair, service and / or warranty work on a timely manner in collaboration with Rainguard Management and Operations.
- Close out work requests upon completion of the work and report results to Rainguard Management.
- Assist in painting panels and trim, bending of metal, organizing and housekeeping as required.
- Assist in the training of new and / or existing staff as required
- Perform other tasks and duties as directed by Management and Business Owner
