Radio Service Technician-Saskatchewan
Tridon Communications is looking for a Radio Service Technician to join our growing team in Saskatoon, SK.
What You Bring :
You have good analytical, problem solving, trouble shooting and technical skills. You bring a can-do attitude, practice safety first and are not afraid of hard work.
The ideal candidate will have a diploma or a degree in electronics or wireless engineering with hands on experience testing, installing, programming, and repairing wireless and electronic communication systems and equipment.
Must Haves :
- 2-year diploma in electronics engineering technology or related field / 4-year bachelors degree in electronics combined with related work experience
- 2 + years of direct industry work experience
- Valid Canadian Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving record within the last 5 years
- Be able to provide a criminal record check
- Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing for access to site
Ideal Skills :
- Hands on experience working with conventional, trunking, and P25 radio systems in industrial environments
- Experience working with portable and mobile radio equipment with basic diagnostic and radio programming
- Experience installing radio and communications related equipment on light and heavy-duty vehicles
- Knowledge of hand and power tools, test equipment and design / fabrication techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with clients and team members
