For our location Edmonton, AB we are looking for you as :

Service Technician

What challenges can you expect?

You will be responsible for the performance of service job in regard to the designated product spectrum both on site and in-house
Thereby, you will be preplanning service jobs to be carried out
You will take care of problem assessment in regard to Load Tap-Changer units, Power Transformer’s accessories and equipments, including its resolution
You will propose and recommend additional solutions to Customers in order to improve the asset reliability
You will create technical service reports and forward it to the Service Manager
Furthermore, you will be dedicated to support the company development strategy with other duties as assigned

What do we expect from you?

You are a skilled worker with appropriate experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (

Thereby, you enjoy practical and challenging hand-on tasks in the electrical / mechanical field

Your knowledge about power transformers is a plus

Strong leadership skills and ability to make decisions under time pressure characterise you

You are an energetic, well-mannered and proactive team player driven to meet customer satisfaction

You are fluent in English language (read / written / spoken); French would be a plus

In addition, you have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Your availability to travel rounds off your profile (approximately 70%)

Furthermore, you are committed to Health and Safety

And you’re holding a Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident
