Lead Solution Architect - RBC Insurance
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The RBC Insurance Team is currently undertaking a multiyear journey of modernization and transformation of the core Insurance applications. As part of this transformation there will be multiple initiatives working with leading edge technologies, RBC Enterprise groups and other parts of RBC. In this role you will be responsible for planning, architecting and designing the future state application and solution landscape for RBC Insurance and leading teams to move from current to new future state. The role will develop, work with the multi-disciplinary Insurance Architecture team, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Collaborate with Business Partners and the Architecture team to work on initiatives of varying complexity to contribute to and define the overall Insurance Platform Architecture
- Work with leading edge technologies and project initiatives to enable RBCI's IT strategy & vision
- Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks. Analyze, mitigate and escalate where appropriate
- Collaborate and contribute on cross-functional Insurance and enterprise initiatives and manage the effective implementation of assigned deliverables.
- Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate and coordinate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.
