Job descriptionPost-Secondary education in a law enforcement / security program from a recognized college preferred Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act Superior written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy. Valid Ontario Security License Immunization Record including MMR. Job Description :
- Monitor and control all access points to the clinic, including entrances and exits, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the facility.
- Patrol the exterior of the clinic to ensure the perimeter is secure. Detect and address any security risks or breaches.
- Respond promptly to any alarms or security breaches.
- Respond to emergencies and security incidents, providing assistance in coordination with local law enforcement, fire, and medical teams.
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring that all follow safety protocols, including checking identification and visitor logs.
- Maintain a highly visible presence to deter potential threats, prevent vandalism, and discourage unauthorized access.
- Document and report any incidents, suspicious activities, or security-related concerns. Maintain accurate records of daily activities.
- Enforce clinic policies, rules, and regulations regarding safety, security, and emergency procedures.
