Job descriptionPlan, Audit, organize and manage the work of unionized employees; Ensure that staff members comply with policies, administrative procedures, safety rules, collective agreements and government regulations; Collaborate with other supervisors and staff to establish and implement policies, procedures and objectives; Promote safe work practices, by conducting safety audits, participating in company safety meetings, and meeting one-on-one with staff members; Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgets; Conduct on road investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints; Collaborate with internal or external stakeholders to determine the causes of accidents that occur during transport and improve safety procedures; Participate in the disciplinary process or the settlement of grievances; All other related tasks. Minimum of 2 years of experience in secure transportation road operations. Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Possession of a firearm licence Very good leadership, negotiation, and judgment skills. Strong focus on teamwork and partnership. Sense of urgency, exceptional communication, and problem-solving skills Critical thinking and active listening developed. Process oriented.
