At the Shirley and Philip Granovsky Palliative Care Unit, we provide continuous care for older adults during the later stages of a life-limiting illness. Our goal is to make a patient’s last days as rich and meaningful as possible and often help with end-of-life planning and celebrations. We believe in meaningful, holistic care that includes the voices of patients, families and everyone involved in the patient’s care.
Job Summary
The Palliative Care Unit provides 24-hour pain and symptom control combined with emotional and spiritual support to patients with late or end-stage malignant and non-malignant disease in need of palliative care. We offer a 31 bed unit with beds reserved for both short-term palliative applicants with a 90 day or less prognosis and long-stay palliative applicants.
