Description :

As a Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for pre-analytical specimen handling, transport, accessioning, processing and storage. You will also be responsible for responding to inquiries, cleaning, monitoring and preventative maintenance of lab equipment and work areas, maintaining common supplies, updating inventories and data sheets and participating in lab quality and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program.

Additional Required Qualifications :

Completion of Anatomy, Physiology and Medical Terminology courses.

Preferred Qualifications :

Recent experience in Anatomic Pathology and experience in EPIC-Beaker AP is an asset.
