Job description

Who we are:

Superior Glove is a family-owned company with over 100 years in designing and manufacturing innovative hand protection for every major hazard. We innovate to fit the protection workers need into comfortable PPE they'll want to wear. Headquartered in Acton, Canada, Superior Glove has grown from humble beginnings to a global contender, with several locations across Ontario, Newfoundland, Alberta, Quebec, Honduras, New York, Louisiana and Mexico.

The ideal candidate:

Are you a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and solving customer challenges? Do you thrive in a highly autonomous role where you can make a meaningful impact on business growth?

We're looking for an entrepreneurial Territory Manager to lead sales growth across Northern Ontario. You'll be equally comfortable strengthening relationships with distribution partners while identifying and developing new opportunities with end-users across key industrial markets. You're motivated by achieving results, take ownership of your territory, and enjoy uncovering opportunities through a consultative, value-based approach.

Superior Glove Works Ltd. is currently hiring for a Territory Manager based in Northern Ontario. This home office-based role requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory and periodic travel to our Global Headquarters in Acton, Ontario. Up to 60% travel is required.

More about the role:

Reporting to the VP of Canadian & International Sales, the Territory Manager is responsible for growing Superior Glove's presence throughout Northern Ontario by building strong relationships with distributors and developing demand with end-users across key industries. You'll provide product training, conduct joint customer visits, identify new business opportunities, and position Superior Glove as a trusted hand safety partner. Success in this role requires strong business development skills, disciplined territory management, and the ability to independently execute sales strategies using Salesforce CRM.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributor partners throughout the territory.
  • Deliver product training and education to distributors and customers to support product knowledge and sales growth.
  • Conduct joint sales calls with distributors and engage directly with end-users to identify opportunities and improve hand safety programs.
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, utilities, food processing, construction, and other industrial sectors.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers and position Superior Glove as a trusted technical partner.
  • Develop and execute territory growth plans while expanding existing distributor business.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities using Salesforce CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and activity tracking.
  • Share market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Participate in ongoing product and sales training to continuously strengthen technical and commercial expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience within industrial products, PPE, safety equipment, or a related industry.
  • Experience working with distributors, channel partners, and end-users.
  • Demonstrated success developing new business opportunities through consultative selling.
  • Working knowledge of the industrial safety or PPE market.
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform to manage opportunities and customer activity.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working independently in a remote territory.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and ability to travel up to 60% throughout the assigned territory.
  • Experience developing new territories, industrial markets, or PPE distribution networks is considered an asset.

Why work for us?
