Our Clean Harbors Nisku, AB location, is currently looking for a B Pressure Welder to join the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the application of trade skills to a wide variety of welding, fitting and custom fabrication. • Health and Safety is our #1 priority and We Live It 3-6-5 • Competitive wages with the opportunity for overtime • Sign on bonus Responsibilities Under general supervision, the role of the B-Pressure Welder encompasses many activities including but not limited to, • Reading and interpreting blueprints and welding process specifications; • Operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas metal arc welding pulse (GMAW-P/ STT), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), and submerged arc welding (SAW); • Operating flame-cutting/ plasma cutting equipment; • Operating metal-shaping machines such as iron workers, drill presses, and other metal straightening and bending machines; • Removing metal and/or preparing materials for welding by gouging and grinding; • Ensuring all welding equipment is clean and functional; • Assisting with the maintenance and repair of welding equipment; • Layout on vessels and piping; • Standing for long periods of time.
