At Steelcon, the Plant Manager will lead and oversee all operations and activities in a manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production processes, quality control, safety compliance, and optimal resource utilization. The Plant Manager will be responsible for the P&L of the facility and will be tasked to create and execute plant in line with the company’s strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & Operations
- Direct daily plant operations including production scheduling, logistics coordination, and maintenance planning.
- Manages all fabrication, welding, and coating operations within the facility.
- Develop practical strategies to improve manufacturing processes and reduce operational costs.
- Responsible for meeting fabrication throughput, weld quality standards, and cost efficiency targets.
- Support implementation of company policies and ensures AISC, CWB, and OSHA compliance.
- Manage plant budget effectively and monitor expenditures against targets.
- Collaborates with corporate and site teams to identify, analyze, and resolve root cause issues, implementing sustainable solutions that prevent recurrence and improve operational efficiency.
