Recently funded and growing, Radiant is looking for scientifically curious and passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary, and collaborative environment.About the Role : As an Associate Research Scientist, you will be focused on supporting the advancement of the Multabody platform from discovery through preclinical development. This role includes using the latest technologies in molecular biology, protein expression / purification and bioanalytical techniques to generate and QC high quality Multabody therapeutics. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make important contributions towards the development of transformative therapies for patients who need them the most.Responsibilities : Perform recombinant DNA activities, including DNA construct design, plasmid preparation, and bacterial transformationMaintain and transfect mammalian cells such as CHO or HEK293 cellsPurify recombinant proteins using affinity chromatography, SEC and / or IEXPerform analysis of purified proteins using HPLC and other biophysical instrumentationUtilize electronic system for sample identification, processing, and trackingOperate and maintain laboratory equipment according to established proceduresAnalyze, interpret and present results at team meetingsDiligently maintain records of experimental data in Electronic Laboratory NotebookQualifications : MSc degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Analytical Chemistry, or BSc degree with 2+ years of relevant working experienceExpertise in molecular biology techniques including plasmid DNA purification, SDS-PAGE and western blottingExperience in tissue culture, protein purification and / or bioanalytical techniquesPrior experience with protein expression in mammalian transient or stable cell lines is highly desirablePrevious experience in drug development in a pharma and / or biotech environment a strong plusWho you are : A driven and rigorous scientist who is passionate about improving patients’ livesHighly organized, with excellent time management and planning skillsDetailed oriented with strong problem-solving abilitiesAn excellent communicator (written and verbal)Committed to continuous learning and improvementA highly collaborative team member who thrives in a science-focused, fast-paced start-up environmentLocation / Start DateBased in TorontoStart date immediateTo apply Please submit your application with a CV and cover letter to [email protected] by January 13th 2025.
