Job description

This posting is for Teacher Candidates currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Faculty of Education program with Transitional Certificate or Ontario teaching certification that are interested in supply teaching with the DDSB. As an Occasional Teacher (Supply) for DDSB, you’ll create a vibrant and supportive learning environment where students thrive. You’ll bring your passion for teaching to the classroom, guiding students through their educational journey and fostering a love for learning. Key Responsibilities : Deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and support student learning. Create a positive, inclusive and safe classroom environment where every student feels valued. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students. When applying for please include the following : Ontario teaching certification or Transitional Certificate (enter you OCT number in your profile, if you have one) Resume and cover letter Practice Teaching Reports or recent appraisal (most recent ones required) Upon hire : You must provide the People and Culture department with a current obtained or applied for (within six months of your start date) vulnerable sector screening.
